As of March 2026, it remains one of only five specialist orthopaedic centres in the UK. The hospital has been rated "Good" overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and "Outstanding" for caring. It is managed by the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
