British Food Fortnight 2026
British Food Fortnight 2026 takes place 26th September to 11th October 2025.
This is the 25th anniversary year of the national celebration of the diverse and delicious food that Britain produces.
British Food Fortnight 2026 will be bigger than ever with more celebrations taking place in communities and organisations through the UK.
Stretching from field to fork, anniversary celebrations during British Food Fortnight will build on previous years’ successes. From city authorities to remote village halls, from classrooms to care homes, to universities and hospitals – all united by a shared love of British food.
Creative food activities will range from giant puddings, floating food festivals and street food cookery workshops to bakery tours and farm visits will be happening so get the date in your diary.
National Harvest Festival and Harvest Torch
Every year during British Food Fortnight, Love British Food organises the National Harvest Service in a different city or town. Our Harvest Torch travels the country during this time. and Her Majesty The Queen Consort supports the event every year.
This years’ National Harvest service takes place at Nantwich Cathedral on 11 October.
For the first time ever, a Harvest of the Sea is being celebrated at Exeter Cathedral, also on 11 October, to celebrate British fish and seafood.
