A national initiative bringing people together through the universal language of food
Harvest in the Community is a new national initiative encouraging people to come together united by the universal language of food.
Our dream… to encourage a burst of national community activity, coming together as a society around the traditional celebration of food and the harvest every autumn, starting in October 2027. Food has the ability to unite: where there is discord, we seek to unite and bring people together through gratitude for our harvest and the joy of sharing food.
You are all invited… we are inviting communities across the country to take part; to organise harvest celebrations, lunches or suppers filled with love, togetherness, laughter and breaking bread together.
We so hope you will join us and share our dream.
Details on how you and your community can take part will be released in early 2027.
