Local Food Links
Local Food Links is a unique organisation and a community owned social enterprise. Since 2007 they have been making freshly prepared, healthy school meals and supporting local businesses.
They have 3 hub kitchens supplying 60 schools across Dorset plus 1 school in Devon.
They work hard to source the best quality ingredients and they make meals from scratch so they know exactly what goes into every meal. Their meals are freshly prepared daily and delivered short distances.
They are passionate about great food!
They strive to create varied and interesting menus that children will enjoy whilst packing each meal full of healthy goodness.
They operate across Dorset, delivering meals (either hot or cook-chill, i.e. to be reheated on-site) from their kitchens in Bridport, Blandford and Weymouth.
Their CEO, Caroline Morgan, sits on Love British Food’s Education Working Group.
