Lizzie Carr is an environmental activist, adventurer, author, founder of Plastic Patrol and now Ambassador for Love British Food.
Being the first person to paddle board the length of England’s waterways (400-miles), solo and unsupported, Lizzie was also the first female to paddle
board the English Channel before launching Plastic Patrol, a global movement to get rid of plastic pollution from inland sources - where the majority
begins before it flows into our oceans.
Strong environmental values and sustainability are key to Lizzie as she campaigns for issues that are important to her and the future of the planet. Lizzie
is keen to encourage us all to source food and drink responsibly and locally as well as educating on sustainability in both product and packaging as
well as recycling. With this in mind Lizzie Carr is joining the Love British Food team as an Ambassador.
“I am delighted to become Love British Food Ambassador and helping to support this cause. I am passionate about the environment and keen to educate people on becoming more sustainable by reducing single use plastic, buying and sourcing food and drinks from local producers or growing your own”.
