Producer of the Month: Tideford Organics
Tideford Organics have been making organic soup and sauces in their Devon kitchens since 1996, and in 2016 took their love of veg to the next level, becoming the UK's first organic, vegan and gluten-free brand.
Tideford Organics' mission is simple; a little change can make a big difference and by encouraging consumers to eat a little less meat, they can not only help the environment, but also improve their health. All of Tideford's homemade-style soups are organic, vegan + gluten free with no added sugar, perfect for health 'al desko' lunches or delicious dinners.

Why do you do what you do?
We believe that great tasting organic food is the best way to get people to eat more veg and less meat. And in a busy world, not everyone has the time to cook from scratch, which is where we come in.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Making great tasting food that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. For example we've developed the UK's first certified FODMAP-friendly soup - the low-FODMAP diet is designed to help alleviate the symptoms of IBS, and cuts out some very common ingredients like onion and garlic, so it's really gratifying to get feedback from new customers who can now enjoy one of our soups.
What do you least enjoy about your job?
Having to select which flavours to launch - if we could we'd share them all.
What achievement are you most proud of?
Becoming the UK's first organic, vegan and gluten-free brand - it was a big change for us, but has been incredibly rewarding.
What's on the menu this evening?
Our Spiced Sweet Potato & Quinoa Soup - it uses British organic quinoa from a sixth-generation farm in Shropshire and recently won 'Best Healthy Boost; at the Great British Food Awards.
