Producer of the Month: Brett Hornby, The Real Pie Company
This month we take a look into the workings of Brett Hornby of The Real Pie Company - a Sussex based pie company producing crammed to the crust pies.
The Real Pie Company was set up by my mother and father in-law 18 years ago having orginally started as a small family butchers in the heart if Sussex. Our customers loved our pies so much that we started a dedicated pie kitchen to cope with demand. We now produce all our pies by hand, hand filled, hand crimped and hand egg washed, but still holding true to our ‘freshly baked’ principles. we use the finest British ingredients we can find, sourcing all our Grass Fed beef from farms in Scotland, and Red Tractor Farm Assured chicken from farms in Norfolk. The Real Pie Company pie's are "Crammed to the Crust" so make sure you try a Real Pie today!
