The Country Comes to the City

The Cambridge Town & Country Show, Parker’s Piece, Cambridge CB1 1JF Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 June 2018 -

Parker’s Piece is once again the setting for arguably what is Cambridge’s largest free to enter family event attracting crowds of over 40,000 – the Cambridge Town & Country Show is really shaping up to be its busiest ever and organisers Oakleigh Fairs are delighted to announce that this year really has something for everyone.

Charlie Owen, MD of Oakleigh Fairs organisers of the show says ‘We are really looking forward to returning to Parker’s Piece this year the show is bigger than ever and really has become the must-do event for families in Cambridge – as usual, the event is free to enter – but we are always interested in offers of corporate or other sponsorship! We are delighted to be bringing back some firm favourites as well as introducing some brand-new elements’

Now in its 12th year this much loved and popular family event takes place in the heart of Cambridge. All day entertainment will include brand new Heavy Horse Display Team, Savage Bike Skills Display Team, Historical Re-enactment, birds of prey flying displays, terrier racing, children’s entertainer Devistick Peat plus Circus Skills Workshop, the goat show including bottle feeding lambs and kids, children’s petting pens, historical re-enactment with Yellow Ribbon and much much more. Plus demonstrations of rural skills for you to enjoy

And there's a great programme of performing arts all weekend in Cambridge Dutchbikes Music Marquee and on the Cambuskers Stage

There will also be a glorious display of full and scale model steam engines as well as farm machinery.

Arts, crafts food drink and gifts marquees as well as outside trade stands.

Fully catered & with a licensed bar

And on Sunday at this event we are proud to host The Fun Family Companion Dog Show so bring along a canine friend and have a go (all proceeds from entries go to Marie Curie care)


Well behaved dogs on a lead welcome at this show, but not in marquees with food please

No parking so please come on foot, bike or use public transport

Bouncy Castles & Children's Fairground charges apply

Special Interest Groups are warmly invited to take part and we welcome enquiries from trade stands

Fully catered and there is a licensed bar featuring Real Ales and cider
