Not Long to Go Now!....

Just under a month to go until this years’ British Food Fortnight and Brakes can’t wait! We’re planning some positively amazing activity to encourage our customers to buy British…..and continue to do so.

Exclusive Recipes for You.

Arguably a British institution, the Great British breakfast is certainly enjoyed the length and breadth of the UK. Our talented team of Development chefs have devised some truly mouthwatering Breakfast recipes, all featuring British products. You can expect lots of twists on Breakfast favourites, and ideas for eating breakfast on the go.

The top celebrity chef and restaurateur Mark Sargeant has also created some top-notch dishes for us, all using products from Brakes extensive range, with each recipe highlighting something special from our British lines and designed to delight.

You can find more details about our support of British Food Fortnight and all of the above recipes from mid-September www.brake.co.uk/inspiration/british-food-fortnight. Visitors can download a copy of the quick and easy to follow recipe pdf to use in their kitchens – at work and at home!

More Reasons to Buy British

Brakes customers will have exclusive access to some promotions on British products; the very best and flavoursome products from our range. We’re sure you will be delighted by the prices and the sheer breadth of what you can buy.

Spotlight on British Produce

Produce is often a great ingredient to call out on your menu, especially with the increase in Vegetarian and Vegan options customers are expecting. Provenance is always important, and what better way to support local and regional farming communities by buying British. Don’t forget to bring your menu to life with descriptions that will tempt the tastebuds, for example fresh, crunchy and vibrant are always welcome additions.

Brakes have a wonderful choice of British fresh fruit and vegetables which changes with the seasons. Here’s a snapshot of where our favourites came from this August.
